about

New Jersey native Dylan Peggin set out on his own musical voyage during the tail end of 2015. With the local success of his debut single "Flower Child," Dylan's focus went towards the vision of his debut album. With influences from the simplistic songwriting of Pink Floyd's Syd Barrett to the delicacy of Led Zeppelin's acoustic side, Dylan's debut album is a perfect outcome to this interesting mashup. This album includes the very first songs he has ever written (some dating back to as early as 2013) to the present day.

The album opener "Take The World by Storm" kicks the album off into high gear; the single "Flower Child" will surely get stuck in your head; "Talk To Me" is another catchy yet rocking number which includes rapper MSG appearing in the final verse; "The Ballad of the Pisces and the Virgo" is a delicate waltz-like ballad which includes a beautiful mandolin solo from Tyler Steinbronn; "Redhead Goddess" is a nice quirky love song to, you guessed it, a redhead goddess; the album gets broken down into a mellower mood with the song "Light Years" which includes a spacey Moog synthesizer solo from Matthew Thomas; Dylan then pays tribute to his idol Syd Barrett with his rendition of his favorable song "Dark Globe"; "Come Home to My Way" is a basic acoustic ballad with very deep meaningful lyrics about a loved one being miles away; "Searched The World to Find You" is the album's climatic point with bold chorus and lush Pink Floyd-like harmonies; the album ends with another homage to Syd Barrett with a rendition of this song "Opel."

All these songs make up the definitive music debut statement for what could become a hot and up-and-coming rock artist. What's lacking in today's music is music that comes straight from the heart; and that is what Dylan Peggin's debut album has.
